Denim+Leather

Yesterday was day three for the hair. Usually I try to go as long as possible between washes but the fringe just isn't having any of that nonsense. They want a rinse and repeat massage daily and lets get real for a second, who doesn't love spending at least 30 minutes every day in a hot shower? Some of my most creative ideas come while I'm leaning up against a shower wall, staring off into nothing, with scolding hot water hitting my back. Well then, and right before I'm falling asleep. They say you should keep a notebook by your bed but come on, who really does that?

I've been wearing this quite frequently. Denim and leather just go together right? I also wore my new camo jeans from Zara but have yet to do a full feature on them. That's my next adventure. I finally found a new camera lens that I think will make a world of difference for my photos here on the blog! I wish I could buy it today but I'm being as patient as possible until after my trip home for Sundance. That isn't a cheap vacation friends. Just flights and movie tickets alone is a small fortune for a freelance makeup artist. I can't even imagine what we'll spend in a week while we are there but guess what? WORTH IT.

These are the 10 movies we'll be seeing at the festival:
1- The East
2- Aint Them Bodies Saints
3- Shorts Program 3
4- Crystal Fairy
5- Blue Caprice
6- Upstream Color
7- We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks
8- In a World
9- Lovelace
10- The Crash Reel

The only other movie I wish we could have snagged tickets to was Touchy Feely. It seems rather interesting. Awkward, thought provoking, and possible scenes that make you squirm. I'm ok with that. I don't know how i'm going to handle freezing to negative temps for a week but with snow boots and my trusty Micheal Kors coat I should be golden. I seriously can't wait to visit some of my favorite restaurants while I'm home too.

    1. Yes! I need to get some more. I love the Catwalk dry shampoo spray because it has a seriously delicious male fragrance scent. Its so expensive though. What brands do you like?

    2. I normally just use TRESemmé {Freshstart - Volumizing Dry Shampoo} it's cheap + available at any/every store = perfect, considering I go through so much of it! Although, I just discovered Not Your Mother's Clean Freak - Refreshing Dry Shampoo & it does the trick too (found at Ulta)!
