I still can't name this lipstick for you yet. BUT, its coming soon. Stay tuned.

What I LOVE about this pair of Ardell lashes is how natural they look! They fill in my natural lashes yet create a little more volume and length without looking incredibly fake. After applying them I was shocked to discover I didn't even need eyeliner! I of course added a thin line because I'm a wee bit of a perfectionist (you couldn't tell?) and I love the way then liner emphasizes my eye. 


Here are some photo's of the lashes I purchased today as well as the mascara. I was willing to give a store brand a shot since I've been iffy about my mascara for some time now. Verdict? LOVING IT.

Bet you didn't know I 1-love to read and 2-love reading horror graphic novels. TRUE. My collection is relatively small but I love them. All my other books are on another shelf in our apartment. I was worried about the amount of weight this little beauty of a desk could bear. I found that polka dot notebook/clipboard/folder at Target today for $4 on clearance. First of all, how in the world has no one else wanted to take this beautiful thing into their home causing it to go on clearance?! I snagged him and have been 100% happy because of it. 

I always have a few of my current magazine reads close to my work area. Helps keep me motivated, entertained, and busy. I came across the 'Inspiration' aromatherapy scented oil while shopping at Target as well. I loved the idea of having this in my work zone especially because I feel the desire to be inspired and to pass on that inspiration to all of you! Seemed fitting and uplifting. 

So happy. Off to ride my bike around the city. xoxo

The Most Indecisive.

Yesterday was the kind of day where I really couldn't make my mind up about anything. I suppose I am in a rut. I have been loving simple makeup looks lately and yesterdays involved less product and focusing on adding a pop where I wanted it most. That would be the lashes and the lips people! I plan on sharing another post with you today where I feature my newest lip obsession. Its unreal.

I know, I know. I'm also getting tired of looking at my blue heels. I would love to go heel shopping! Especially because I've come across so many amazing pairs lately. I'm trying to be good and not spend money frivolously. Owing for taxes this year, a vegas trip planned in April AND my lovers birthday in April= Steph puts shoes on the back burner. I changed a few times yesterday. You know those days were you're feeling a little carefree yet picky as hell at the same time? Well if you haven't, its rough. My head and heart just couldn't connect yesterday in order for me to make any sort of decision. Whether that be my outfit or which large tax check to write first.

I really love nothing more than to have a day to myself once in a while. I picked up these flowers from the store while grocery shopping yesterday. I love collecting my favorite bottles from wines, whiskeys, etc... my boyfriend and I enjoy and turning them into vases. You can find these lovely flowers on our dinning room table, my computer  desk and on our entertainment stand.

I was feeling rather motivated this morning and finally put together the computer desk Ryan got me for my birthday. All by myself! I am in love with it. My last computer desk was HUGE. I found it hard to work with and my style has changed a lot since then so it didn't really fit along with any of my current pieces. I am in love with this desk. We got it HERE. The photo's you are seeing are from right after I put it together. I can't wait to put all my favorite books on the shelves above. Its going to look great. I positioned it right by the window so every morning when I'm creating my blog posts, I can watch the sunrise.

Skincare for $15 or Less!

As much as I love having fun with my makeup, I love taking care of my skin even more! If you aren't happy with your skin, you aren't going to be happy with anything you put on it. You could have the most amazing cosmetics this world has to offer and would it really matter if you didn't love your beautiful, healthy skin?? Here are some of my favorites.

FACE

1. Boots Botanics Conditioning Clay Mask- This is an unscented formula designed to provide deep hydration to dry and combination skin types. 

2. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream- While this product is good for all skin types I truly believe it is ideal for those who are A) dry and B) combination skin types. Those who are dry need more moisture and deep hydration without having to use a heavy, thick cream that takes far too long to settle into the skin making it difficult to apply your makeup in the morning. Those with combinations skin really want something that will provide the moisture they need to smooth out their dry patches while not over hydrating or irritating their oily zones. 

What I love about this moisturizing cream is that it not only helps with providing deep moisture but it also helps improve skin tone over time. All WITHOUT mineral oils, parabens, fragrance or dyes. 

3. Burt's Bee's Sensitive Eye Cream- This eye cream is suitable for normal, dry and sensitive skin. Has a clean scent and helps hydrate the skin around the eye for a fresh feeling. This light weight formula helps with puffiness under the eyes, helps skin replenish its outer layer and minimizes effects of potential irritants such as harsh soaps or cleansers, and provides all-day moisture.

BODY

1. JR Watkins 4oz Lavender Body Oil- All JR Watkins oils are regarded for their anti-aging and nourishing qualities. They are 99% natural and along with providing soothing moisture to the skin you can also use this for a cuticle oil or massages. You can pour a small amount into your bath to gently blend the oil all over your body while bathing or you can apply the oil topically after getting out of the shower.

I have been using Burt's Bee's Mama's Body Oil for the last month and I think I need to get my hands on some of this lavender body oil! Mmmmm.

2. Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Oil- Apply this moisturizing oil daily in the morning after getting out of the shower for healthy hydrated skin all day! This formula isn't greasy whatsoever and believe me, your skin will LOVE you for it. 

- non-chomedogenic, fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic. 

Lips

1. EOS Tangerine Medicated Lip Balm Sphere-  Provides medicated relief and helps prevent bacterial contamination on your lips. Packed with antioxidants, zinc, vitamin C and E, Shea butter and jojoba oil, this product will protect and pamper your lips!

2. Burt's Bee's Tinted Lip Balm in Honeysuckle- First of all, I LOVE this shade! I was instantly drawn to it while at the store. This paraben free balm is great for all, including sensitive lips, and provides amazing moisture with a wonderful and fun touch of color. One of my personal faves!

{A few small things this week that rocked my world}

As you have seen from my post Leather&G O L D, this is my new gold sweater. It may be the best thing ever.

I've been needing a new smaller tote and this orange number delivers. Small, efficient, and beautiful.

This vodka label is just to wonderful not to share.

My favorite rings. I wear them daily. 

I've been reading this book for some time now. My reading time has been few and far between over the last 6 months but as of late I have done a great job of disconnecting and sitting on my patio with this amazing book. This book has given me chills (in the best way) multiple times. 

Right?? Right. I love my new nerd glasses. Also featured in my Leather&G O L D post. 

I had a particularly good day at work today. It was a great day over all. Started off with a coffee from my most favorite place Cartel and a fun recognition work meeting at 8am. I seriously work with some of the most fun and awesome people. It gets better. One of my super cute and fun customers came in to see me today and we had a great time. Those interactions are why I love my job! All of that topped off with H&M having my size in the amazing leather pants I needed to exchange for a larger size and a fun night out with my out-of-this-world boyfriend (is it possible to fall for someone over and over again? because I do) and our friends.

Even though the leather pants I purchased are a size too small, I thought I'd snag a few photo's while trying them on simply so I could show you my new favorite outfit. Ok ok, tomorrow I'll probably have a new 'favorite outfit'. I saw this gold sweater online and knew I just had to have it. When I walked into H&M there it was. Just laying there and waiting to come home with me! I browsed a little more and came across a new pair of nerd glass! I have been rocking the big square style for far too long. It was time for something slimmer, lighter and still 100% nerdy. 

I came across the leather pants by chance and fell in love with the texture. Its just enough coverage that you can wear them with a t-shirt or a long blouse. I am REALLY hoping they have my size when I go back tomorrow to do the exchange. If not, my heart might break. That or I'll just keep the small pair and continue my work outs!

I'm not quite sure why but anytime I throw an outfit together I always feel the need to see what it would look like with my nerd glasses. So I figured I'd show you both and let you decide which is best! I also started with my hair sort of messily braided off to the side and when that proved more difficult than imagined, I finally let it all down.

I named this post after the Nirvana song 'In Bloom' because that is what was playing on my iTunes when I started creating this post.
