Product Play Time

{Meet my Sleek and Shiny friends}

1. Glossing Creme from Frederic Fekkai- I love this product and I almost always apply it from the middle to the tips of my hair right before I'm getting ready to blow dry. I have to be careful with products like this because if I get it too close to my scalp my already shiny oily hair will look I never actually washed my hair. What I love about this product is that it adds a great shine to my hair and gives my hair moisture. You can apply this to damp hair or even apply to dry hair if need be.

2. Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid- I LOVE this product. I've been using it for years. Its basically an alternative to the Fekkai product I've already featured above. I love trying different products to make sure I really love something. This product is great because it hydrates and conditions your hair to give it a healthy glow and it dries to a soft touchable finish. Have you ever used "smoothing/shining" products that make your hair stiff or sticky? gross. Once you do, you'll realize just how amazing these two products are.

3. Biosilk Silk Therapy- Not only does this product help give you sleek, shiny and healthy looking hair, it also protects it from sun damage and the heat from your blow driers and styling tools. It will replenish and nourish your hair with vitamin E & B which also strengthens your hair. I run a dime size amount into my hair before I get ready to use my blow dryer. It helps my hair look and feel amazingly soft and now that I live in the desert I love having that extra protection from the blazing sun.

Let me know what hair products you can't live without and what products you think I should try!

Youngsters.

Remember that beautiful bride Seija George Brunatti whom I did makeup for on her wedding day? She and I have known each other for a very long time, as you can see. Look how stinkin cute little Seija was! With her crimped hair and Little Mermaid shirt. As you can see, I've been a fan of fringe for about 20 years now :). She randomly sent this photo to me the other day and it put a huge smile on my face.

Salt Lake City, I Love You.

I tried to make as many stops as I could to all my favorite local spots in SLC.
The first couple of photo's feature shots of one of my favorite local fashion boutiques, FRESH.

{LOVE these rings}

{My darling spoon ring which I purchased from FRESH}

One of my favorite coffee stops. I just so happened to order a Moroccan Mint tea instead of my regular cup a jo.

Lots of changes with the City Creek area coming together. Loving it SLC!

Hanging at a dive bar with friends.

Darling spoons. Cider and Whiskey. Lipstick marks. The finer things in life ;).
{And for the record, I didn't spill. The waiter did!}

While having brunch with Ryan, my mother and two younger brothers, I was served a soy latte in this amazing Looney Tunes mug. I felt special. Blue Plate Diner is delicious!

My darling friend Kassi who works at Silver Restaurant, Bar and Lounge on Main in Park City showed us an amazing time when we dined there saturday night before our Sundance Awards Night party. This place does it right! Amazing food. Amazing service. Beautiful atmosphere. Rad employee's who work hard and are great with people. Kassi was kind enough to also order us some dessert before you we took off. Kassi is an amazing designer who loves fashion and interior design. You can find her Facebook page HERE.

A few random photo's of the fun time we had at the Sundance Awards Night party. Such an amazing trip! Already looking forward to next years festival.
