Mary

I had the amazing opportunity of meeting Mary Van Otten last week. I did her makeup for a fancy dinner she was going to and she wanted to find something that would go well with her pink dress. Mary likes to wear pink cosmetics but she was afraid it may clash with the pink dress. Not at all! Lets just say.. we pink'd her out. And it turned out fabulous. She sent me these photo's of her and I can't wait to hear how her night went!

Oh those random Costume Parties.

My friends Breezie and Dylan (one of the cutest couples on the planet) called me about a week ago to do makeup for them for a costume/surprise bday party they were going to. I was super excited about it because they said they wanted a "dead-ish" look. And you ALL know how much I love to do dead makeup. I wish I could have done their makeup outside of work where I could start early on them and really take my time. I love what we came up with although I know the photo's below don't do justice to how cool it looked in person.

Breezie wanted to look "dead" and loved the idea of having Day of the Dead aspects added into her look. Although, she didn't want to look pale. Instead of whiting out the face which you would normally do with a DD look, we simply used some colors, hollowed out the eyes and cheeks, threw a sweet ass flower design on her chin, and threw on some simple lashes. I was really really happy with how her look turned out.

Dylan (like most guys) wasn't too picky or specific about what he wanted other than he wanted the lines on his mouth. I did make his face a pail shade (not whited out), hollowed out the eyes with black, hollowed the cheeks with a DD design and of course gave him his lips. I added the rings around his cheek design to give the "lace" feel. I dig it. His photo's have simply been put into black and white, with a vignette. Off to party for these two!

Kelley Hadley

Kelley is a very dear friend of mine. I met her in December of 2008 and we have been the best of friends ever since. I was overwhelmed with excitement and flattered when she asked me to do her makeup for her graduation photo's. Featured below is one of her graduation photo's. We focused on very light colors to ensure everything we used simply enhanced her natural beauty. She wanted to look soft and elegant. I think we accomplished that :).

This girl is such an amazing, strong, caring, and genuine human being. I love her very much and am so very proud of her.

Makeup= ♥

My name is Stephanie and I am a Makeup Artist.

I have worked in cosmetics and freelanced for the last two years. I love everything about makeup. From the lightest/brightest, most natural creations to blood and guts makeup. I try it all and am always creating new looks in my mind. Whether I'm driving on the freeway, folding laundry, working at the MAC counter or eating a bowl of cereal, you know the wheels inside my head are turning with new makeup looks. I will be posting all of my work here for anyone and everyone to enjoy and to give all of you amazing viewers an easy place to contact me when you need a makeup artist! Or when I need you and your bright shinning face for a look I have in mind. You can also contact me at stephneiheisel@gmail.com.

Right now I am in the process of putting a series or two together. All of which involve a more glamours/theatrical look and I'm very excited about it! I am working on face charts right now to bring my ideas to life and then I will need some willing faces to see my vision through. If you or someone you know is interested in being a model (or if you simply want your makeup done) email me at the email above.

These are just a few beautiful faces I have worked with. I have also included some Halloween photo's from last year where I did "Zombie" looks. Thanks for looking! More to come.
